Lake County's objective during the COVID-19 pandemic is to balance local economic opportunity and business operations with health and safety protections for the community, employees, and business patrons, including precautions that help limit community spread of the coronavirus.


Lake County is in a Responsible Re-Opening phase, aligned with the State of Colorado Safer-At-Home guidelines.

Local Business Re-opening Process

  1. Complete LCPHA Social Distancing Protocol Submission Form:

  2. Submit Protocol & Plan for Compliance to LCPHA. (All non-critical businesses considered closed until authorized by LCPHA.)

  3. LCPHA reviews & approves (with any modifications, as needed).

  4. Letter of Approval issued. Must be displayed on premises.
